Just a quick run down on some updates for our Friday Night Brawl events, info on Pioneer will be at the bottom.
Entry cost into these events will remain $10
For every entrant $12 will be put into the prize pool to be paid out in store credit based on the number of attendees. (This is a change from packs)
1st up, we are increasing the round timer from 50 minutes to 60 minutes.
You can still bring a total of 3 Brawl decks to these events, you can change out your deck for games 2 and 3 of a match and/or change out your commander with another commander within your deck for games 2 and 3 of a match. You cannot switch cards out between decks, and must return to your original Brawl Deck with its original Commander at the start of a new match.
Round structure
2-4 players : Single Elimination
1st place: 100% + Random Promo Pack (while supplies last, can be foil)
ONE other non-foil promo pack will be handed out randomly among other players (while supplies last)
5-8 players : 3 swiss rounds
1st place : 60% + Random Promo Pack (while supplies last, can be foil)
2nd place : 25%
3rd place: 15%
ONE other non-foil promo pack will be handed out randomly among other players (while supplies last)
9-12 players : 4 swiss rounds
1st place: 50% Random Promo Pack (while supplies last, can be foil)
2nd place: 30%
3rd place: 20%
ONE other non-foil promo pack will be handed out randomly among other players (while supplies last)
Pioneer @ Curiosity?
We are currently looking for a time to fit in Brawl, we wanted to let all those interested know. While we don't have any details yet, please keep an eye out as we see where we can fit the event. The event will use the same prize structure as our Brawl events.
