We will be announcing the winners for June tomorrow, this post will go over the changes for Attendance Tokens starting July 2nd, Make sure to read everything so you are not misinformed.
Reminder: Attendance tokens require a core support membership.
Reminder 2: Attendance tokens are currently only awarded for participating in Magic the Gathering events.
The Changes
Open Play Participation: Tuesday-Thursday from 2PM to 9PM, Friday-Saturday from 2PM to 6:00PM, and Sunday from 2PM to 6PM; You will receive 1 attendance token per hour with no daily limit.
Standard Showdown: Fridays at 6:30PM (except July 26th); You will receive 2 attendance tokens per hour with a minimum of 3 if the event takes less than 2 hours so long as you stay until the end.
Friday Night Magic: Fridays 6:30PM - 10PM (except July 26th); You will receive 2 attendance tokens per hour. While it is possible to earn tokens for both Standard Showdown and Friday Night Magic, you cannot earn them at the same time, you would need to stay and play additional games after Standard Showdown ends. (You must signup for Friday Night Magic or you will receive 0)
Commander Nights: Saturdays 6:30PM - 10PM; You will receive 2 attendance tokens per hour. (These tokens require that you actually signup and participate in Commander Night, otherwise you will receive 0)
Special Events
Bloomburrow Prerelease: July 26th at 6:30PM; You will receive 3 tokens per hour, with a minimum of 6 tokens if the event takes less than 2 hours.
Draft Events: Anytime; Drafts must be planned at least 5 days in advance and must have at least 6 participants. Anyone who participates in a draft event will receive 3 tokens per hour for the duration of the draft. (Draft prices vary, please speak with us directly)
Time Frames: Token earning begins and ends at the specified times; this means that while we are sometimes open after 10PM for example, you would not earn any further attendance tokens past 10PM.
Rounding of Hours: We will always round to the nearest whole hour; 5:31-5:59 is 6, 5:01-5:30 is 5
Weekly Attendance Token Cap
A Maximum of 20 tokens can be earned through event participation each week.
Purchase Tokens:
In order to allow for a few extra tokens and reward supporting us, for every $50 spent within each week, you will receive an additional 2 tokens at the end of the week.
Note: You must participate in at least one event per week to earn weekly purchase tokens.
Max 4 extra tokens per week through purchase bonuses.
This means that any one person can earn a total of 24 tokens per week.
Weekly Prizes:
12 tokens:Â Non-Foil Promo Pack
16 tokens:Â Foil Promo Pack
20 tokens:Â One Booster pack priced at $15 or less.
Monthly Prizes:
40+ tokens:Â One Modern Horizons 3 Collector Pack (or Standard Legal Collector Pack)
Big Prizes:
55+ tokens
1st place: Pick between one the remaining Modern Horizons 3 Collector Decks (The Eldrazi Precon is not available) OR a Bloomburrow Play Booster Box.
2nd Place: A pick from the remaining prizes.
In the event of ties; the winners will be randomly selected from those tied.
Weekly Definitions for July: Week 1: July 1 - July 7 (Monday to Sunday, 7 days)
Week 2: July 8 - July 14 (Monday to Sunday, 7 days)
Week 3: July 15 - July 21 (Monday to Sunday, 7 days)
Week 4: July 22 - July 31 (Monday to Wednesday, 10 days)
