A quick transparency update on Secrets of Strixhaven.

Apparently the real secret of Strixhaven is the ability to actually get product at affordable costs.

We want to be upfront with everyone: this release has come in at an extremely reduced allocation percentage through normal distribution channels, especially on Collector Boosters.
We were able to fulfill most priority preorders, but most is not the same as all, and in a more severe cut scenario the impact could have been significantly worse.
What makes this especially frustrating is that we are already seeing the secondary market move aggressively before release, with pricing moving up quickly even ahead of launch.
Unfortunately, this continues to reflect a much larger issue in the hobby space right now: reduced allocations through standard channels, immediate aftermarket spikes, and replacement costs that are often far above what anyone would consider reasonable.
That said, we want to end this update on some better news.
Our $10 pay-what-you-can Prerelease is absolutely still happening.
No matter how frustrating sealed product allocation has become, we are still committed to making sure our community has a place to come together, crack packs, and enjoy the set at release.
If you’ve been looking for an affordable way to experience Secrets of Strixhaven, this is still one of the best ways to do it, and we would love to see everyone out for it.
Thank you all for continuing to support local game stores and for sticking with us through another challenging release environment.
